The Zonta Club of Guelph is seeking opportunities to explore and expand our reach within the Guelph and area community. The Zonta Club of Guelph provides financial resources to individuals and organizations that assist women and girls in our local community. The Club also engages in service related activities and hands-on projects that contribute to the needs of women and girls.
Assuming availability of resources, requests received will be evaluated using the following criteria:
A. for individual requests:
- the individual must be actively volunteering to help underprivileged communities or groups either locally, nationally or internationally
- the request must focus on the social welfare, education, environment and/or health issues, placing a specific emphasis on women and/or female children: and
- funding cannot be used for personal gain
B. For Group or Organizational Requests
- the request must focus on the social welfare, education, environment and/or health issues, placing a specific emphasis on women and/or female children: and
- the request must be specific in nature and not a general request (i.e. mass mail)
